DMCA Policy for Sportzfy
At Sportzfy, we are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page outlines our DMCA policy, including how copyright owners can notify us about alleged copyright infringement and how we handle such notifications.
What is the DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. copyright law that provides guidelines for online platforms to address claims of copyright infringement. It allows copyright owners to report unauthorized use of their content and enables online platforms to respond appropriately to such claims.
Content on Sportzfy
Sportzfy serves as a platform to provide sports enthusiasts with access to live streaming, updates, and related content. While we strive to ensure that all content on our platform adheres to legal guidelines, some third-party links or content might unintentionally infringe on copyrights. If you are a copyright owner and believe your work has been used without proper authorization, please notify us immediately.

If you believe that your copyrighted material is being infringed on Sportzfy, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To ensure a swift and accurate response, please include the following information in your notice:

- Description of the Copyrighted Work: Clearly describe the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed.
- Location of the Infringing Content: Include the specific URL(s) or location on Sportzfy where the alleged infringement is occurring.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy and Authority Statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

How We Handle DMCA Complaints
- Acknowledgment: Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will acknowledge the complaint and begin reviewing the claim.
- Content Removal: If the claim is verified, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notification: We will notify the user responsible for the content about the takedown and provide them with a copy of the DMCA notice.
- Counter-Notice: If the user believes the takedown was a mistake, they can file a counter-notice as described below.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your Contact Information: Full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- Description of the Removed Content: Clearly identify the content removed and where it was located on our platform.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was mistakenly removed or is not infringing.
- Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where your address is located).
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the removed content unless the original complainant files a lawsuit seeking a court order to prevent further use of the content.
Repeat Infringers
Sportzfy reserves the right to terminate user accounts or block access for repeat infringers in accordance with the DMCA and applicable laws.
Good Faith and Abuse of the DMCA Process
We take DMCA notices seriously and expect the same from all parties. Filing false claims or providing misleading information in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal consequences.
